Pound Sterling- the Britain Currency
Pound sterling (sign: £; ISO code: GBP) this is the representative currency of the United Kingdom, the British abroad Territories and being acceptable as the mean of payment for domestic and world wide transactions. Approximately all of us universally known as the pound and its circlet dependencies. In early days, the pound sign had been made by double cross-bar () on the letter “L”, but later on it was changed with a single cross-bar (£). This sign is derived from the letter “L” in Roman LSD units including librae, solidi, and denarii that meanings pounds, shillings and pence in English. After the U.S. Dollar, euro and the Japanese yen the pound is the fourth most traded currency in the foreign exchange market. It is also considered among the world’s oldest currency still in used as means of payment AS some associate of the European Union have espouse the euro (€) as their official currency. A pound is subdivided into 100 pence.

in most of the countries like America, Australia, Canada, the banknotes are solely issued by the central bank or the local government. However, the issuance and the circulation of the pound notes is exclusively handled by the Bank of England and the penal of seven retail banks which are situated in Scotland and North Ireland because they have the right to print the banknotes of the different amounts including £5, £10, £20, and £50.

In Llantrisant, Wales in Various denominations including one penny, two pence, five pence, ten pence, twenty pence, one pound and two pounds. Coins are minted by the Royal Mint.
