I have been involved in extreme sports for several years. As an Alaskan I began climbing mountains and glaciers by the age of twelve with my father. We are lucky to live in a place with so many challenges readily available and close to us so it is not unusual for us to go once a week on an adventure. Recently I have been getting seriously interested in snowmobile racing. We have many races here during our long winters and many are up to the crests of mountains. The biggest danger is starting an avalanche and I have personally had some close calls on two occasions. To be successful in the races you need to modify the snowmobile in multiple ways for better traction and increased power. I use car maintenance software to keep track of all the modifications. Although this type of automotive software is really designed for car and trucks it also works great on snowmobiles.

Nihonto is a Japanese term to mean Japanese sword. Japanese sword is one of the customary weapons used by the Japanese. There are many Japanese swords, each with unique characteristics. The difference of the Japanese swords depends mostly on how the sword master made it. Japanese swords vary according to size, style and usage. The katana sword is the most popular traditional Japanese sword. This is the most common weapon of choice of the Samurai warriors. Typically, the sword is made of single edged, slightly curved blade with a circular or squared and long hand guard for better grip. The tsurugi is another Japanese sword with a double-edged blade. The odachi, nodachi and tachi are the older versions of very long single-edged swords. The wakizashi is a medium length sword shorter than the katana. The tanto and aikichu are short length swords with less than 30 centimeters length. The pole weapons like naginata and yari are also regarded as type of Japanese swords.

Most people choose to do parasailing with licensed company – try to find one that other people have used already.
The most important aspect of parasailing is of course safety. Just make sure that you are dealing with company that has good background. The staff must strap you into a fitted harness, vests and helmets and then tethers it to a chute. Both take off and landing occurs from inside a safe dry boat.
If this is your first time to do this activity, you will be oriented by instructors who will introduce you to parasailing, as well as its safety guidelines. It also includes gear rental such as harness assembly, life vest, parachute and helmet.
Some parasailing companies offer packages that include everything from the instructor to a dvd of your ride. Although parasailing is a brief experience – it offers a lifetime memory. It depends on the company but most offers duration that ranges from 15 to 30 minutes.
